Felix Lebrun came from 3–2 down to beat Anton Källberg 4–3 in the European Championship men's singles final, sealing victory with an 11–1 deciding game. Källberg told Swedish outlet SVT Sport he had felt good until the final two games, when he was essentially helpless.[1][2][3]

Källberg took the opener 11–7 before Lebrun won the next two games 11–9 and 13–11. Källberg responded by winning the fourth and fifth games 11–8 and 11–9, but Lebrun forced a decider with an 11–6 win in the sixth.[2]

It was Källberg's second silver of the championships: He and Kristian Karlsson also lost the men's doubles final to the Lebrun brothers. In a comment to SVT, he said gold would have been much more enjoyable and expressed his disappointment at taking silver.[3]
