Sun Yingsha beat Kuai Man 4–1 in the women's singles final at WTT Champions Montpellier on November 1, winning her first top-tier WTT singles title since June’s US Smash. She said injuries had caused recent fluctuations in her form.[1][2]

Earlier that day, Sun had edged Wang Yidi 4–3 in the semifinals. In the final, she lost the opening game before winning four in a row.[2]

Sun called the fourth game a major turning point, saying that at 4–8 down she had focused on staying calm, finding solutions one point at a time and staying in the moment.[1]
